Peruvian Opal & Citrine Sterling Silver Necklace

A beautiful one of a kind Peruvian Opal and Citrine necklace, handmade in sterling silver.

The large oval Peruvian Opal is the centrepiece, with its wonderful mixture of turquoise, blue and sea green reminiscent of the changing colours of the sea.

Suspended beneath it is a smaller Citrine charm, adding a subtle contrast of warm golden colour against the cool blues of the opal. The little charm moves independently as the necklace is worn, bringing another dimension to the design.

Both stones are framed with my hand textured radiating line border, drawing the eye towards the natural colours and markings within each stone.

Turn the necklace over and you will find the water inspired texture that features throughout this small collection. The sterling silver backs have been textured with irregular patterns inspired by the wonderful shapes created on the surface of water when light shines across it.

The sterling silver chain is fixed to either side of the main setting. This helps the necklace sit beautifully when worn, keeping the clasp at the back of the neck and the Peruvian Opal and Citrine centrepiece where it belongs at the front.
