Story and Inspiration

The Waters Edge collection is rooted in Karen’s deep connection to the North Norfolk coast. This wide cuff captures the moment when waves retreat across wet sand, leaving behind delicate ripples shaped by the tide. The textured silver surface echoes these natural patterns, mirrored by a cascade of rounded 9ct gold bubbles that represent the outer froth of the waves as they reach the shoreline.

Each cuff is created individually in Karen’s studio using a combination of hand forming, fretwork, and acid etching. No two pieces are ever the same, reflecting the ever changing nature of the coast itself. This wider version offers a striking presence on the wrist, with a substantial weight that feels grounding and luxurious.
